Across cultures, the KOI fish is revered as a symbol of harmony, good fortune, ambition, strength, resilience, and prosperity. It represents Yin and Yang — the balance between opposites — and it is their quiet beauty and mystery that we find both peaceful and inspiring.
We chose the name KOI to represent our mission of respecting each patient's individuality and helping them fully develop their unique qualities through optimal health, wellbeing, and balance.
KOI Wellbeing La Mesa is an extension of the award-winning KOI Wellbeing practice, established in La Jolla in 2015. Every provider, protocol, and standard of care at La Mesa is the same as what has earned KOI Wellbeing its reputation as one of San Diego's foremost integrative medicine practices.
